Cheapest Flights to Dubai

Found on the southeast coast of the Persian Gulf, Dubai is the capital of the United Arab Emirates and regarded as the most modern cities of the Middle East. The city’s tourism industry has rapidly grown; as a relatively new tourist city on the global stage, it’s already one of the ten most popular destinations in the world. The city is most well-known for its impressive skyline, including the Burj Khalifa, the tallest tower in the world. There’s nowhere like Dubai, which offers world-class shopping, thrilling desert safari Dubai tours, beautiful beaches, hot Dubai weather and a lovely desert landscape.

With two airports located right in the city, Dubai is an easily accessible gateway to the Middle East from the western world. Dubai flights connect millions of passengers to the city every year, and it’s easy to find Dubai flight tickets within your travel needs. Buses and shuttles are available from airports to city centre every few minutes, so you can complete your journey quickly.

Dubai Weather

As you might expect from a desert city, Dubai weather is very hot; the yearly average temperature is about 30°C. While the days are hot, nights become cold with lows of 30 °C. In addition to the high heat, summers are known for typically high humidity. If booking a Dubai trip on from September to May, you can expect cooler Dubai weather. During this cooler season, temperatures range from 20-32°C. Rainfall is short and typically occurs from December to March.

The most comfortable time to visit Dubai is during its cooler months. High forecasts during the summer can reach into the 40s, which many travelers would find uncomfortable. A Dubai trip during the winter or early spring, though, is a great cure for the winter doldrums—sunny and warm, the city is a paradise at this time of year. But be warned: this is peak tourist season. Book your flights well in advance.

Dubai Airports

Dubai International Airport (DXB)

As the primary international gateway for the United Arab Emirates, Dubai International Airport is the bigger of the two Dubai airports. It’s the busiest in the world in terms of international passenger traffic. The Dubai aiport’s currency exchange allows you to reserve the current rate to collect at the airport later. Other services include meeting and work rooms for business, a play area for children, smoking lounges, showers, baby care rooms and prayer rooms. The airport’s dozens of restaurants aim to provide a survey of world cuisine, from quick bites to extended sit-down meals. From the airport’s shops, expect to find a variety of fashion retailers, electronics, accessories and duty-free goods.

Getting from Dubai airports to the city centre is easy. Trains on the Dubai metro run about every 10 minutes from Terminals 1 and 3. Buses are available from Terminals 1, 2 and 3, and a free 24-hour shuttle between Terminals 1 and 3 quickly gets passengers where they need to be. Dubai airport transportation is available to move passengers between the airport and Dubai Al Maktoum Airport. If mass transit isn’t your stile, hire a taxi or limo service to complete your journey, or rent a car from one of the seven services available.

Al Maktoum Airport (DWC)

Dubai’s “airport of the future,” Dubai Al Maktoum Airport (part of Dubai World Central) remains under construction, but already serves international passenger traffic. Because Al Maktoum Airport is still being developed, shopping is relatively sparse compared to other Dubai airports. Current plans indicate a large mall will connect all terminals. For now, passengers can enjoy duty-free shopping as soon as they arrive.

There are a handful of parking options at the airport: short stay, long stay, business and valet parking. Valet parking will be available at all terminals. To get from Al Maktoum Airport to the city, many Dubai airport transportation options are available. Two bus services connect to city stops as well as Dubai International Airport. A handful of car services are available, as are taxis for quick Dubai airport transportation.
